Job summary

ARKANSAS CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL seeks a radiology professional for the Bentonville Ortho Walk-In Clinic. Full-time (36 hours per week) with a $10K sign-on and access to a student loan repayment program.

Requires RTL license or eligibility, ARRT RT certification within 12 months, and AR radiology credentials. Responsibilities include performing routine radiographs, patient care, and maintaining exam quality while supporting both main hospital and regional clinics.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college program or technical school or nursing diploma.
• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university is recommended.
• ARRT R certification must obtain within 12 months of hire date or eligibility.
• RTL Arkansas Department of Health license must be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates increasing knowledge of correct and acceptable radiographic techniques and positioning; operates equipment and sets up room for exams.
• Learns patient screening with pregnancy, contrast, contraindications, and uses contrast forms for exams.
• Uses designated communication devices and responds appropriately.
• Maintains knowledge of emergency equipment and supplies.
• Raises concerns about patient care, safety or satisfaction to supervisor promptly.
• Keeps work area clean and properly maintained.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Developing skills to performs quality radiographs and patient care. May be required to work in both main hospital setting and off-site clinic locations. Infrequent travel may be required to cover regional clinic x-ray services. Performs routine imaging examinations in Diagnostic Radiology on a scheduled and emergency basis following departmental QC and exam data integrity workflow expectations.

Required Education:

Description
