Job summary

The Elliot in Hooksett is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures and ensure high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes. You will follow ASRT standards and ethics while maintaining patient safety and departmental protocols.

We require ARRT certification, AMA-approved training, and a 24-month clinical internship; BLS is obtained during orientation and maintained throughout employment. Epic experience is a plus as part of our care team.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Radiological Technologist training from an AMA approved school.
• Twenty-four month clinical internship required.
• Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy, Required.
• ARRT certification, Required; eligible candidates may be hired with goal to obtain within 12 months.
• Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment.
• Experience with Epic, Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiography procedures based on ASRT Radiography Practice Standards and Code of Ethics.
• Understands and adheres to departmental exam protocols.
• Actively participates in quality control/QA activities using the APIE model.
• Performs venipuncture.
• Prepares, administers, and documents contrast-related activities.

About the Job:

The practice of radiography is performed by a segment of health care professionals responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. A radiographer performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by, or by the request of, a licensed independent practitioner.

• Performs radiography procedures based on the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) “Radiography Practice Standards” and the ASRT “Code of Ethics”
• Understands and adheres to departmental exam protocols
• Actively participates in quality control and quality assurance activities using the “APIE” model.
• Performs venipuncture
• Prepares, administers, and documents activities related to contrast
