Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification and NJ Registered Radiologic Technologist license (or Diagnostic Radiography license) required; BLS within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and document information clearly.
• Comply with CLIA, OSHA and state regulatory standards.
• Greet patients and ensure courteous, responsive service.
• Develop radiographs of acceptable quality and minimize retakes.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information before procedures.
• Maintain radiology equipment and inventory; assist with rooming patients as needed.
• Adhere to organizational competencies and standards.
