Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic examinations, adhere to ALARA, and support imaging workflows using EPIC, PACS, and Teletracking systems. The role requires NJ licensure and ARRT certification with strong patient communication skills.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, image processing, and assisting providers in contrast administration. The position involves shifts, on-site work, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology completed.
• ARRT certification preferred or required.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office/Google Suite).

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic radiographic examinations by positioning patients and selecting technical factors.
• Follow ALARA principles to limit radiation exposure.
• Perform portable x-ray exams in various settings.
• Identify and mark images correctly and process reconstructions.
• Maintain x-ray room and handle supplies as directed by department head.
• Assist in administration tasks including scheduling and patient instruction.
