Qualifications

• Must have certification and registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology.
• State Licensure preferred unless required by the state.
• Experience in radiation safety and patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient's clinical history and lab work for practitioners.
• Position and immobilize patients to demonstrate anatomic areas.
• Perform radiographic procedures safely using imaging equipment.
• Assist licensed practitioners with specialized radiography procedures.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and document patient exposure.
