Qualifications
Must have certification and registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology.
State Licensure preferred unless required by the state.
Experience in radiation safety and patient care preferred.
Responsibilities
Obtain patient's clinical history and lab work for practitioners.
Position and immobilize patients to demonstrate anatomic areas.
Perform radiographic procedures safely using imaging equipment.
Assist licensed practitioners with specialized radiography procedures.
Evaluate images for technical quality and document patient exposure.
