Job summary

Mercy Health’s Willard Hospital seeks a Radiology Technologist (Harmonized) to perform diagnostic imaging with attention to patient safety and comfort. Under supervision of an authorized user, you will handle imaging procedures, document histories, and support radiology workflows.

Qualifications

• ARRT Diagnostic Radiology certification is required.
• State licensure preferred.
• 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care preferred.
• Experience with Radiology Information System preferred.
• EPIC EHR and PACS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient's clinical history and ensure documentation is available for use by a licensed practitioner.
• Position and immobilize patient to optimize imaging while respecting comfort.
• Apply radiation protection principles to minimize exposure.
• Perform radiographic procedures using imaging equipment and accessories.
• Verify informed consent and complete pre/post-procedure documentation.
• Assist licensed practitioner with fluoroscopy and specialized radiography; maintain aseptic technique.
