Job summary

Mercyhealth seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with focus on safety, patient comfort, and imaging quality. The role may include patient reception, phlebotomy, rooming patients, vital signs, and teaching radiography students.

Responsibilities include equipment operation, image capture, data submission to PACS, and adherence to safety protocols. ARRT radiography registration is required, with CPR/BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Radiography registration required; CPR/BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to interpret orders and ensure accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with attention to safety and image quality.
• Position patients and provide instructions to obtain optimal results.
• Execute universal precautions and patient identifiers.
• Operate imaging equipment and submit images to PACS for radiologist review.
• Provide instruction to radiography students and partners.
