WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals is seeking a Radiology Technologist - Level I to perform imaging across diagnostic areas, ensuring patient safety and image quality. You will rotate through fluoro, mobiles, OR, endoscopy, and orthopedics, applying imaging protocols and providing patient comfort.

The position requires a current radiography license, ARRT certification, and BLS within 30 days of hire, with a minimum of one year of radiologic experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT radiography registration and active state radiography license as required by the service state.
• License requirements per MD, OH, WV, PA as applicable to the location of service.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• ARB safety and clinical credentialing as part of hospital policy.

Responsabilités

• Rotate through all diagnostic areas (fluoro, mobiles, routine, OR, endoscopy, orthopedics) to develop technical skills.
• Perform imaging procedures per patient status, service request, and imaging protocols with supervision.
• Produce high-quality images with correct exposure factors to minimize dose.
• Position patients accurately and assist with comfort, hygiene, and range of motion during procedures.
• Educate patients about radiographic procedures and safety, and maintain teamwork with staff.
