Job summary

WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals in Morgantown, WV seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and patient care under Radiology Department guidance.

You will rotate through multiple diagnostic areas, select exposure factors, and ensure patient safety while delivering high-quality imaging results. A current radiography license in the applicable state, ARRT registration, and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
• Must have current Radiography License as required by state where services are provided.
• ARRT registration required upon hire (MD/OH/WV); PA by six months after graduation.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• State and federal background checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Rotates in all Diagnostic areas to develop technical skills (fluoro, mobiles, operating room, orthopedics).
• Performs imaging procedures based on patient assessment, service request, and imaging protocols.
• Produces high-quality images with appropriate exposure factors to minimize radiation.
