Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for Willard Hospital in Ohio. The role involves diagnostic imaging under the direction of an authorized user, with emphasis on safe ionizing radiation use and patient care.

The position requires ARRT certification, state licensure where applicable, and BLS. Responsibilities include patient positioning, imaging, documentation, and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred (ARRT accredited).
• ARRT Diagnostic Radiology certification and registration required.
• State licensure preferred depending on where the job is performed.
• BLS from American Heart Association at hire for some locations; required before independent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient's clinical history and lab work for licensed practitioner.
• Positions and immobilizes patient to best demonstrate the area of interest.
• Applies radiation protection principles to minimize exposure.
• Performs radiographic procedures with imaging equipment and accessories.
• Verifies informed consent and completes pre/post procedure documentation.
• Assists licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic procedures and aseptic technique.
• Performs required timeouts per policy.
• Identifies and administers medications/contrast as prescribed.
