Mercy Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for Clermont Hospital in Ohio. You will perform diagnostic imaging under supervision, with focus on patient safety and image quality.

The role requires ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology, BLS at hire for some locations, and a preferred Associate degree in Radiologic Technology. The position emphasizes teamwork, patient-centered care, and strict radiation protection practices.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred).
• ARRT Certification in Diagnostic Radiology (required).
• State licensure (preferred, where applicable).
• BLS from American Heart Association (required at hire for some Mercy locations).
• 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care (preferred).
• Experience with Radiology Information System (RIS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient's clinical history and lab work; document for licensed practitioner.
• Position and immobilize patient to best demonstrate the area of interest.
• Apply principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure.
• Perform radiographic procedures by operating imaging equipment and accessories.
• Verify informed consent and complete pre/post procedure documentation.
• Assist licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures; aseptic technique.
• Perform timeout as required by policy.
• Identify, prepare and/or administer medications/contrast as prescribed.
