Qualifications

• Associates from an ARRT accredited institute preferred.
• Certification and Registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology required.
• State licensure preferred unless required by state of performance.
• BLS certification required at hire for certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and ensure documentation is available for practitioners.
• Position patient to best demonstrate the area of interest and ensure comfort.
• Apply radiation protection principles to minimize exposure.
• Perform radiographic procedures using imaging equipment and accessories.
• Verify informed consent and complete pre/post procedure documentation.
• Assist licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures; apply aseptic technique as needed.
