Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology (ARRT accredited preferred).
• ARRT certification and state licensure (preferred).
• BLS certification required or preferred upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and ensure information is documented for licensed practitioner.
• Position and immobilize patient to demonstrate the area of interest.
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Perform radiographic procedures using imaging equipment and accessories.
• Verify informed consent and complete pre/post procedure documentation.
• Assist licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures.
• Document and monitor patient dose exposures.
• Interact professionally with physicians, staff, and patients.
• Receive, relay, and document orders in the medical record.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure accurate results.
