Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General seeks a Registered Radiology Technologist to join our Radiology - Diagnostic team. Location is Akron General Medical Center; shift is Day/Evening Rotation, 10:30am-11:00pm, with every other weekend.

A sign-on bonus of $5,000 and loan repayment are offered. Responsibilities include performing general radiology exams, portable exams, and fluoroscopic procedures, producing high-quality images, and ensuring patient safety.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
ARRT(R) registered in good standing.
Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding.
Maintain documentation.
Address equipment malfunctions and report to management/PACS admin.
Assist with scheduling procedures and monitor patient priority.
