Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join the Diagnostic Radiology team. You will operate x-ray equipment, position patients, and produce high-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure.

The role covers evening and night rotations, contributing to a fast-paced trauma center environment. Join a premier health system and help support a wide range of imaging services, including CT, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered Radiographer (R) with ARRT.
• Current Radiology state license.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Position patients and prepare for examinations to ensure safety and quality images.
• Set technical factors and select appropriate equipment.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
• Assist in radiology department safety and cleanliness.
• Support Radiologic student program and clinical education.
• Complete mandatory education to maintain competencies.

Radiologic Technology program completion

Registered Radiographer (R) with ARRT

Current Radiology state license

Basic Life Support (BLS)
