Job summary

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic procedures, operate imaging equipment, and develop films for radiologist review. You will work under the Imaging Supervisor and maintain professional relationships with staff across departments.

Qualifications include ARRT-R Radiography and RT Radiologic Technologist certification, with at least 1 year of experience and BCLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer certification required.
• 1 year experience in radiology required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

• Perform radiographic procedures using ionizing radiation to detect pathology or disease.
• Operate imaging equipment and develop films for radiologist review.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology or in the treatment of disease. Operates all the equipment utilized within the department, and develops and organizes films for presentation to the radiologist. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow co-workers, other departments, and Medical Staff. Works under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
