Job summary

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform a range of ionizing radiation procedures and operate imaging equipment, preparing films for radiologist review and maintaining professional relationships with staff.

The role requires ARRT-R Radiography and RT Radiologic Technologist credentials, BLS within 30 days, and at least one year of experience. You will work under the Imaging Supervisor to support patient care and accurate diagnostic imaging.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer certification.
• Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• 1 year experience required.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology or in the treatment of disease. Operates all the equipment utilized within the department, and develops and organizes films for presentation to the radiologist. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow co-workers, other departments, and Medical Staff. Works under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
