Job summary

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and ensure patient safety under ALARA guidelines. This role involves administering contrast agents when needed and managing imaging equipment.

Required credentials include ARRT-R Radiography and RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, plus an Associate Degree. A BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures applying ionizing radiation in accordance with ALARA standards.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for screening and diagnostic purposes in accordance with ALARA standards. Administers intravenous diagnostic contrast agents, regulates the equipment used to expose the x-ray film, develops and organizes films.
