Job summary

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital in Palm Beach County, FL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with CT experience to perform imaging procedures and operate radiology equipment. You will develop films for radiologists and maintain professional relationships with staff and medical teams, under supervision of the Imaging Supervisor.

The role requires an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology education, Florida General Radiographer certification, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program completion.
• Florida General Radiographer license or eligibility.
• Current BLS certification.

Job Summary And Qualifications

POSITION GOAL: Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology or in the treatment of disease. Operates all the equipment utilized within the department, and develops and organizes films for presentation to the radiologist. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow co-workers, other departments, and Medical Staff. Works under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor.

Position Requirements

Education: Graduate of an AMA accredited school of Radiologic Technology.

Experience:

• One year performing CT experience preferred

Other Qualifications

State of Florida Certified General Radiographer

Current BLS certification required.

CT Registry (preferred)
