Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Radiology Technologist in Tampa, FL, to perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and support OR/ED imaging services. On-site full-time role with occasional on-call responsibilities.

Ideal candidates will have a Florida radiology credential and ARRT eligibility or credential within 6 months, plus strong customer service and teamwork skills. BayCare emphasizes inclusion, clinical excellence, and community care.

Qualifications

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Maintains RIS data, file room, general clerical tasks and physician assistance; requires good customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Requires BLS; ARRT Registry Eligible or ARRT within 6 months; State of Florida Radiology license/registration (as applicable).

• Shift Hours: 6:30am - 5:00pm

• Shift : Shift 1, Days

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities:

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation. Must have customer service and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills. Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position. Preferred experience with vascular cases in the OR Requirements: BLS (Basic Life Support) AART (Radiologic Technologists) - Registry Eligible; OR – ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - within 6 months Radiology – State of Florida Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology BayCare Health System is a leading not for profit organization in the Tampa Bay area that has been recognized as a top place to work.
