Job summary

BayCare Health System seeks a Radiology Technologist at St. Joseph's Hospital South in Riverview, FL. The role includes performing diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, supporting OR and ED imaging, and ensuring patient care and RIS data integrity.

A strong customer service mindset is essential. Requires Florida radiology licensure or eligible ARRT certification, BLS, and a radiology diploma or associate degree.

Qualifications

• Requires BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT Registry Eligible or ARRT-certified within 6 months
• Radiology – State of Florida license/certification
• Technical Diploma or Associates Degree in Radiology

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May support operating room and emergency department imaging services.
• Manages imaging patient care, RIS data, and clerical tasks.
• Provides excellent customer service and interpersonal interactions.
• Demonstrates time management and written/verbal communication skills.

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities:

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• AART (Radiologic Technologists) - Registry Eligible; OR – ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - within 6 months
• Radiology – State of Florida
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology
