Job summary

OrthoArizona in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our elite orthopedic team. You will prepare patients for radiologic procedures, explain them to patients, protect from radiation exposure, and take X-rays following safety standards.

You will also document care, import imaging into our PACS, and maintain QC logs. The position offers 8-hour shifts, no weekends, a $2,500 sign-on bonus, and a robust benefits package to support your professional growth.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years radiology experience, preferably in busy orthopedic practice or hospital.
• Completion of approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program.
• ARRT Certification in Medical Imaging.
• Arizona MRTBE license.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures.
• Explain procedures and answer patient questions.
• Protect patients from unnecessary radiation exposure using shielding.
• Take x-rays following established patient-care procedures.
• Document patient care in the chart and import external imaging into the office PACS.
• Scan documents into EMR and maintain QC logs and dosimetry as required by regs.
• Ensure equipment is functioning and radiology supplies are stocked.

Radiology Technologist

OrthoArizona is hiring immediately! Join our elite team of renowned orthopedic specialists as a Radiologic Technologist and enjoy an energetic work environment and a path to professional growth at a variety of locations across the Valley.

What to Expect as a Radiology Tech with OrthoArizona:

This role does not require you perform Fluoroscopy or be involved in surgery.

Pay:

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

8-hour shifts, no weekends, no major holidays, no on-call

Location:

Glendale, AZ

$2,500 Sign On Bonus! $1,250 after 45 days, the other $1,250 after 90 days!

As a Radiology Technologist with OrthoArizona, you'll get to:

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures
• Explain all procedures to patients being sure all of their questions are answered
• Protect patients from unnecessary exposure to radiation by utilizing shielding equipment.
• Take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety
• Document patient care services in chart
• Import outside imaging to office PACS
• Scan documents into EMR
• Maintains accurate QC logs and service records, maintain and monitor dosimetry badges, etc. as required by state and federal regulations
• Ensure equipment is in working order, maintain radiology supplies and reports any malfunctions.

Your experience should include:

• 1 – 2 years Radiology, preferably in a busy orthopedic practice or hospital.
• Completion of approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program
• Certificate of Medical Imaging Modality by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• Arizona State license Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners (MRTBE)
• Maintain CPR certification
