Job summary

OrthoArizona is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our musculoskeletal imaging team in Glendale. You will prepare patients for radiologic procedures, explain each step, and maintain strict safety practices to minimize radiation exposure.

The role includes taking and documenting X-rays, importing imaging to PACS, and ensuring accurate records. Ideal candidates will have ARRT program completion, ARRT modality certification, MRTBE license in Arizona, and CPR certification, with 1–2 years of

• 1–2 years radiology experience, orthopedic or hospital setting preferred.
• Completion of approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program.
• Certificate of Medical Imaging Modality by the ARRT.
• Arizona State license with MRTBE.
• Maintain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures.
• Explain procedures and answer patient questions.
• Protect patients from unnecessary radiation exposure using shielding.
• Take x-rays following established patient-care procedures.
• Document patient care in the chart.
• Import outside imaging to office PACS.
• Scan documents into the EMR.
• Maintain QC logs and service records; monitor dosimetry badges as required by regulations.
• Ensure equipment is in working order and inventory radiology supplies.

Radiology Technologist

This role does not require you perform Fluoroscopy or be involved in surgery. Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour Schedule: 8-hour shifts, no weekends, no major holidays, no on-call Location: Glendale, AZ $2,500 Sign On Bonus! $1,250 after 45 days, the other $1,250 after 90 days! As a Radiology Technologist with OrthoArizona, you'll get to:

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures
• Explain all procedures to patients being sure all of their questions are answered
• Protect patients from unnecessary exposure to radiation by utilizing shielding equipment.
• Take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety
• Document patient care services in chart
• Import outside imaging to office PACS
• Scan documents into EMR
• Maintains accurate QC logs and service records, maintain and monitor dosimetry badges, etc. as required by state and federal regulations
• Ensure equipment is in working order, maintain radiology supplies and reports any malfunctions.

Your experience should include:

• 1 – 2 years Radiology, preferably in a busy orthopedic practice or hospital.
• Completion of approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program
• Certificate of Medical Imaging Modality by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• Arizona State license Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners (MRTBE)
• Maintain CPR certification
