OrthoArizona seeks a Radiologic Technologist to join our orthopedic team in Glendale, AZ. The role involves preparing patients, taking X-rays, and ensuring safety with radiation shielding. You’ll document procedures and manage imaging workflows across PACS and EMR systems.

New graduates are welcome, with a pathway to grow within a fast-paced specialty setting. We offer a 8-hour shift schedule, no weekends, no major holidays, and a $2,500 sign-on package.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years radiology experience, preferably in a busy orthopedic practice or hospital.
  • Completion of an approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program.
  • Certificate of Medical Imaging Modality by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Arizona State license Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners (MRTBE).
  • Maintain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures.
  • Explain procedures to patients and address questions.
  • Protect patients from unnecessary radiation exposure using shielding.
  • Take X-rays following established patient care and safety procedures.
  • Document patient care services in the chart.
  • Import outside imaging to office PACS.
  • Scan documents into EMR.
  • Maintain QC logs and dosimetry badges as required by regulations.
  • Ensure equipment is in working order and report malfunctions.

What to Expect as a Radiology Tech with OrthoArizona:

This role does not require you perform Fluoroscopy or be involved in surgery.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule: 8-hour shifts, no weekends, no major holidays, no on-call

Location: Glendale, AZ

$2,500 Sign On Bonus! $1,250 after 45 days, the other $1,250 after 90 days!

As a Radiology Technologist with OrthoArizona, you’ll get to:
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures
  • Explain all procedures to patients being sure all of their questions are answered
  • Protect patients from unnecessary exposure to radiation by utilizing shielding equipment.
  • Take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety
  • Document patient care services in chart
  • Import outside imaging to office PACS
  • Scan documents into EMR
  • Maintains accurate QC logs and service records, maintain and monitor dosimetry badges, etc. as required by state and federal regulations
  • Ensure equipment is in working order, maintain radiology supplies and reports any malfunctions.
Your experience should include:
  • 1 – 2 years Radiology, preferably in a busy orthopedic practice or hospital.
  • Completion of approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program
  • Certificate of Medical Imaging Modality by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • Arizona State license Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners (MRTBE)
  • Maintain CPR certification
