Job summary

OrthoArizona is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our elite team in Peoria, AZ. The position offers a competitive pay range of $30.00 - $40.00 per hour, with a schedule of 8-hour shifts and no weekends. Qualifications

• Must have 1-2 years of Radiology experience, preferably in an orthopedic practice or hospital.
• Completion of an approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program is required.
• Must possess a Certificate of Medical Imaging Modality by the ARRT.
• A valid Arizona State license from MRTBE is necessary.
• CPR certification must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients, ensuring their questions are answered.
• Protect patients from radiation exposure using shielding equipment.
• Take x-rays adhering to established procedures for patient care.
• Document patient care services in the chart.
• Import outside imaging to office PACS.
• Scan documents into EMR and maintain accurate QC logs.
• Monitor dosimetry badges and keep equipment in working order.

What to Expect as a Radiology Tech with OrthoArizona

This role does not require you perform Fluoroscopy or be involved in surgery. Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour. Schedule: 8-hour shifts, no weekends, no major holidays, no on-call. Location: Peoria, AZ.

• Protect patients from unnecessary exposure to radiation by utilizing shielding equipment
• Take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety
• Document patient care services in chart
• Import outside imaging to office PACS
• Scan documents into EMR
• Maintain accurate QC logs and service records, monitor dosimetry badges, and keep equipment in working order, maintain radiology supplies and report any malfunctions

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Radiology, preferably in a busy orthopedic practice or hospital
• Completion of approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program
• Certificate of Medical Imaging Modality by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• Arizona State license Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners (MRTBE)
• Maintain CPR certification
