Job summary

OrthoArizona is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our musculoskeletal imaging team in Glendale. You will prepare patients for radiologic procedures, explain each step, and maintain strict safety practices to minimize radiation exposure.

The role includes taking and documenting X-rays, importing imaging to PACS, and ensuring accurate records. Ideal candidates will have ARRT program completion, ARRT modality certification, MRTBE license in Arizona, and CPR certification, with 1–2 years of

Qualifications

1–2 years radiology experience, orthopedic or hospital setting preferred.
Completion of approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program.
Certificate of Medical Imaging Modality by the ARRT.
Arizona State license with MRTBE.
Maintain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for radiologic procedures.
Explain procedures and answer patient questions.
Protect patients from unnecessary radiation exposure using shielding.
Take x-rays following established patient-care procedures.
Document patient care in the chart.
Import outside imaging to office PACS.
Scan documents into the EMR.
Maintain QC logs and service records; monitor dosimetry badges as required by regulations.
Ensure equipment is in working order and inventory radiology supplies.
