Job summary

OrthoArizona is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to join our orthopedic team in Glendale, AZ. New graduates are welcome. The role does not involve fluoroscopy or surgery.

Pay ranges from $30.00 to $40.00 per hour with 8-hour shifts, no weekends or major holidays, no on-call. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered ($500 after 45 days, $500 after 90 days).

Qualifications

• 1–2 years radiology experience, preferably in a busy orthopedic practice or hospital.
• Completion of approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program.
• Certificate of Medical Imaging Modality by the ARRT.
• Arizona State license with MRTBE.
• CPR certification is maintained.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Protect patients from unnecessary radiation exposure with shielding.
• Take X-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Document patient care services in chart.
• Import outside imaging to office PACS.
• Scan documents into the EMR.
• Maintain QC logs and service records; monitor dosimetry badges as required.
• Ensure equipment is in working order and report malfunctions.

What to Expect as a Radiology Tech with OrthoArizona

• Completion of approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program.
• Certificate of Medical Imaging Modality by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Arizona State license: Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners (MRTBE).
• Maintain CPR certification.
