Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a clinical or imaging setting preferred.
• Basic understanding of imaging procedures and patient care practices.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and clinical computer systems.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safety procedures in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for imaging procedures by verifying identification and screening for allergies and contrast.
• Assists imaging technologists with room turnover, equipment cleaning, and exam preparation using infection control practices.
• Supports contrast-related procedures by preparing supplies and following safety protocols.
• Maintains awareness of safety requirements, including MRI zone protocols and radiation safety (ALARA).
• Keeps stock of supplies and organizes materials to support daily operations.
• Performs basic administrative duties: chart prep, order entry, record retrieval, and staff communication.
• Assists with patient transport, transfers, and discharge processes as directed.
• Participates in remote support workflows, including telemedicine positioning and patient communication where applicable.
• Communicates promptly with supervisors regarding care, safety, or equipment issues.
