Job summary

Reno Orthopedic Center is seeking an Imaging Aide to assist the radiology team and ensure a smooth, patient-centered imaging experience. You will greet patients, verify information in EMRs, and help prepare patients for imaging procedures at our Carson City location.

The role focuses on attentive patient care, accurate data entry, and teamwork with technologists to deliver high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Customer service principles and practices.
• Experience using computer systems and applications, including entering data and typing.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients within the imaging department.
• Enter and verify patients’ demographics and exam history into EMRs.
• Prepare patients for imaging exams, ensuring proper attire and assisting with positioning.
• Remove a splint or cast from a patient if needed.
• Communicate wait times and check on patient comfort.
• Maintain imaging systems, and sanitize and stock work areas daily.
