Radiology Forward is seeking a Technologist Aide to join a patient‑centered team in a fast‑paced clinical setting. You will greet patients, register them, collect co-pays, verify details, and coordinate with staff to ensure timely care.

Responsibilities include scheduling, insurance verification, maintaining patient records, sterilizing equipment, and assisting technologists while safeguarding PHI and medications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• 1 year of medical office experience preferred; involves patient interaction and basic front-desk duties.
• Medical terminology knowledge is preferred for accurate charting and coding.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, collect copays, verify patient information and notify arrivals.
• Obtain insurance/authorizations and collect signatures; ensure documentation is complete.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments and communicate changes to staff.
• Ensure equipment and tools are sterilized prior to patient exams.
• Assist technologists with patients and protect patient privacy and PHI.
• Safeguard medications on site per policy and law; handle patient financial information discreetly.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers and respect boundaries.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families and the public in a clinical setting.
