Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Radiology Imaging Administrative Specialist to oversee the management of medical images, upload external images into PACS, and prepare materials for release to patients and providers. You will also support procedure coding, report distribution, and reception duties in a fast-paced radiology environment.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, processing radiology orders, and providing phone and clerical support.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong ability to prioritize a demanding workload and manage time.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and radiology workflows.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with standard PC software.

Responsibilities

• Manage medical images in PACS and upload outside images into the system.
• Prepare images for release to patients, physicians, and outside facilities.
• Provide computer support related to confirming procedures and assigning procedure codes.
• Distribute radiology reports and assist with related clerical tasks.
• Greet patients at radiology reception desks and process radiology orders.
