Job summary

UCI Health is seeking an Image Management professional to oversee the handling of medical images both on paper and digitally within the PACS. You will ensure accuracy, coordinate with Risk Management for audits, and maintain efficient image workflows across RIS and PACS systems.

The role requires strong English communication, medical terminology knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment. On-site work in California with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with radiology information systems and PACS.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Highly organized and able to manage a demanding workload.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital software systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage medical images (hardcopy and digital) in the PACS system.
• Handle subpoenas and provide image copies and breakdowns; liaise with Risk Management for file audits.
• Merge duplicate MRNs and manage RIS/PACS workflows; verify studies in Agfa systems.
• Provide phone support and coordinate mail routing; enter data into relevant systems.
