Zusammenfassung

UC San Diego Health Imaging Department is seeking a dedicated support professional to assist radiologists and technologists by scheduling procedures, processing radiographs, transporting patients, and preparing images for interpretation.

The role requires knowledge of PACS, RIS, and HIS, with responsibilities extending to quality control and safety initiatives within a busy imaging service. Flexibility and a background check are expected.

Qualifikationen

• BART or BLS certification required at time of hire with commitment to obtain BART within 6 months of hire date.
• Experience in a hospital Radiology Department setting with working knowledge of RIS/HIS.
• Computer knowledge including Quality control, Safety procedures and/or handling Radioactive Waste.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical, patient care and clerical support to radiology staff.
• Schedule imaging procedures and coordinate with multi-specialty services.
• Process radiographs, prepare for interpretation and download CDs into PACS.
