Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Scheduling Specialist in Maine. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with multi-line phone systems and handling high call volumes.
• Typing proficiency and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Answers phones and handles calls in a professional and timely manner.
• Schedules patient examinations according to policy.
• Ensures all personal, financial and insurance information is obtained and recorded accurately.
• Enters patient data into information systems completely and accurately.
• Informs patients of financial responsibilities, preparation details, and transportation or other needs.
• Communicates scheduling changes to technologists to ensure patient satisfaction.
• Maintains an up-to-date database of referring physicians and handles overflow calls as needed.
• Provides back-up coverage for front office tasks as requested by supervisor.
