Job summary

HCA HealthONE is seeking a PRN Radiology Administrative Coordinator in Colorado to optimize patient experience by handling pre-authorizations, insurance verifications, scheduling, and radiology procedure authorizations across modalities.

Under supervision of Radiology leadership, you will train staff, provide high-quality customer service to patients and physician offices, and support scheduling and authorization workflows as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (minimum 2 years) or higher education; High School Graduate/GED acceptable.
• BLS certification through AHA or ARC.
• 3+ years secretarial/clerical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience in medical scheduling and insurance verification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and communication for CT, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, IR, diagnostic, and MRI services.
• Serve as the first line coordinator for staff and patients.
• Handle behavioral issues of patients and visitors while under stress.
• Assist with secretarial duties; perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
