HCA HealthONE Aurora is seeking a Registered Nurse Interventional Radiology PRN to join the team. The role includes patient advocacy, preparation, and monitoring during diagnostic and therapeutic radiology procedures.

You will be part of a dedicated team to enhance patient experience and care. The position requires nursing licensure in Colorado with BLS, ACLS, and PALS, and 2–3 years in a related unit; PRN shifts offer flexibility.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Colorado RN license with current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
2–3 years of experience in Critical Care, ED, PACU, Radiology, or interventional radiology.
Ability to function independently, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for procedures by checking vital signs, medications, NPO status, lab results, and medical history.
Insert and remove intravenous lines, administer conscious sedation and other medications.
Monitor patient vital signs and patterns during procedures.
Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
Perform post‑procedure monitoring for complications such as bleeding, pain, or changes in mental status or vital signs.
Meet a 30‑minute callback window for patient calls.
