Job summary

internU in Malvern is seeking a detail‑oriented healthcare scheduling specialist to join our team. You will coordinate patient care, collect demographics, register in EPIC, and review insurance coverage for outpatient services.

You will navigate Epic, Cerner, iCite and call center tools, provide exceptional customer service, document calls, and help grow within the Radiology Department's Reading Room/Film Library.

Qualifications

• Full patient registration including collection of all patient demographics, guarantor data and insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Ability to navigate healthcare applications (Epic, Cerner, iCite) and Call Center applications/telecom equipment (Kyruus, Genesys).
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain HIPAA guidelines on all patient encounters.
• Interact with health system staff in coordinating patient care.
• Demonstrate professionalism and respect at all times with patients and healthcare staff.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ability to navigate healthcare applications (Epic, Cerner, iCite, etc.) and Call Center applications/telecom equipment (Kyruus, Genesys, etc.).
• Gain knowledge of scheduling processes to ensure accurate physician/service referrals and scheduling of outpatient services/exams.
• Document all calls in appropriate software.
• Will document all calls and ensure accurate scheduling and registration.
