Job summary

Summit Medical Group is seeking an Imaging Scheduler for a per diem role in the Imaging department. You will greet patients, schedule radiology exams (CT, Mammo, MRI, Dexa), collect co-pays, and assist with questionnaires while ensuring HIPAA compliance in a fast-paced reception area.

Strong communication, multitasking, and attention to detail are essential. Prior receptionist/scheduling experience is preferred; high school diploma or GED required, and familiarity with EHR/Practice Management is

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Diploma from vocational or technical program preferred.
• 2–4 years experience preferred; receptionist/scheduling experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English; strong verbal/written skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, customers and family in person and by phone in a courteous manner.
• Schedule and reschedule radiology exams; advise pre-exam prep.
• Collect patient co-pays and balances; handle questionnaires.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and professional reception area.
• Communicate with providers, technologists and leadership to resolve issues.
