Job summary

RadNet is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our clinical team in California. You will greet and register patients, verify insurance, collect signatures, and ensure accurate documentation while delivering friendly, service-oriented support.

You will coordinate with back-office staff, handle scheduling, notifications, and patient orientation for safety protocols, while safeguarding patient information and on-site medications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.
• Experience providing exceptional customer service.
• Medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
• Obtain or verify insurance and patient information, collect signatures, and ensure documentation completeness.
• Collect and log all co-pays and fees.
• Answer/transfer incoming phone calls.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments, confirm and notify staff of changes.
• Give patients orientation for preparatory and safety protocols, and provide directions to facilities.
• Coordinate with back-office staff for timely care of patients.
• Safeguards patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards on-site medications as per policies and legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including cash and patient information.
• Exhibits professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
