Preferred candidates have high school level education, solid computer skills, strong multitasking and communication abilities, and prior customer service experience in medical environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Verify insurance and patient information, collect signatures, document accurately.
• Collect and log co-pays and fees, ensure receipts are correct.
• Answer, transfer, and manage incoming calls efficiently.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments and notify staff.
• Provide facility directions and prep guidance to patients when needed.
• Coordinate with back-office staff to ensure timely patient care.
• Safeguard patient information and property in line with policies.
• Handle on-site medications per company policy and legal requirements.
