Job summary

Penn Medicine Cherry Hill is seeking a Patient Services Associate (PSA) to support front-office operations in a fast-paced radiology setting. The PSA assists with arrivals, insurance updates, appointment coordination, and point-of-service activities to help deliver high-quality patient care.

This part-time, day-shift role (approx. 20 hours/week) requires excellent communication, accuracy, and a patient-centered approach. EMR experience preferred; candidates must have a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 2+ years medical office or customer service experience required.
• HS Diploma or GED required; advanced degree may be considered in lieu of experience.
• EMR experience and accuracy are valued.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with arrival and departure, collect copays, and verify insurance in EMR.
• Answer phone calls promptly, route requests, and update appointment status in EMR.
• Schedule and reschedule patient appointments per protocol.
• Ensure smooth patient flow and communicate wait times to management.
• Maintain regulatory compliance (HIPAA, etc.).
