RadNet, Inc. in New York, NY is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and coordinate scheduling in a fast-paced radiology setting.

You will work with back-office staff to ensure accurate documentation, safeguard patient information, and deliver world-class customer service to patients, families, and providers. Genuine passion for customer service and professionalism in all interactions are essential as you support patients through

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills are required.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills are required.
• Experience providing exceptional customer service is required.
• Medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
• Obtain or verify proper insurance and patient information, collect signatures and ensure accuracy and completion of necessary documentation.
• Collect and log all co-pays and fees.
• Answer/transfer incoming phone calls.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments and notify staff of changes.
• Provide directions and orientation for preparatory and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with back-office staff for timely and effective patient care.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications as per company policy.
