Southcoast Health is seeking an Office Coordinator-Radiology at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA. The role oversees daily radiology clerical operations, leads staff, and ensures compliance with policies and regulations while supporting high-quality patient care.

The position requires experience in radiology offices, medical terminology, and strong customer service skills, with a 40-hour day shift and competitive benefits. Vaccination per policy is required or exemption granted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training helpful.
• Associates degree preferred for advancement.
• Thorough knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Radiology office experience preferred.
• Experience with office equipment and PACS, RIS, LAB modules required.
• Three years of related work experience required.
• Must be vaccinated against influenza and COVID-19 or be exempt with signed exemption.
• Pay rate determined by experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations of assigned radiology clerical staff within the site.
• Oversee customer service, workflow, and communication in the radiology office.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements (FTC Red Flag Rules).
• Support staff development and radiology safety.
• Manage office functions and adherence to department standards.
