Job summary

Southcoast Health hires an Office Coordinator-Radiology at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA to coordinate daily operations and support radiology staff.

Under the Radiology Clerical Operations Manager, you will supervise clerical staff, oversee patient service, workflow, and safety while ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory rules.

Requires high school diploma (associates preferred), 3 years related experience, and familiarity with PACS/RIS; vaccination per policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Radiology office experience preferred.
• Experience with PACS, RIS and lab modules.
• Three years of related work experience required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or have an approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations and activities of assigned clerical personnel in Radiology.
• Supervise clerical staff and implement policies/procedures.
• Oversee customer service, workflow, communication, staff development, radiology safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
