Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiology and MRI Tech Aide to support the imaging team at St. Vincent Regional Hospital. You will assist technologists, prepare patients for exams, and help ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.

The role requires strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment, with the potential to gain IV insertion experience and contribute to high-quality imaging care within a values-driven health system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Caregivers.
• IV insertion proficiency where site requires it.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective patient care under the technologist's direction.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist onto/off procedure tables.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other care providers after procedures.
• Transport patients to and from the Imaging department and ensure comfort and safety.
• Assist and/or oversee coordination of patient care; may perform IV insertion upon competency.
