Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiology and MRI Tech Aide to support imaging teams at St Vincent Regional Hospital. You will prepare patients for exams, assist technologists, and help transport patients while maintaining safety and comfort throughout procedures.

Strong communication, teamwork, and basic computer skills are required; prior patient care experience is preferred. This PRN role offers flexible hours and opportunities to advance within Imaging services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and BLS required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for safe and effective delivery of patient care under the direction of the technologist.
• Assists in preparing the patient for the exam and is sensitive to their needs while in their care.
• Assists patients on and off procedure tables and to and from procedure rooms.
• Assists and/or oversees coordination of patient care.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates pertinent information to other patient care providers after the procedure.
• Transports patients to and from the Imaging department, ensuring comfort and safety.
