Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• BLS for Caregivers certification required.
• Preferred: patient care or customer service experience.
• IV insertion proficiency as site requires.

Responsibilities

• Safe and effective delivery of patient care under the supervision of the technologist.
• Assist in preparing the patient for the exam and ensure comfort.
• Help patients on/off procedure tables and transport to/from rooms.
• Coordinate patient care and relay information to care providers.
• Inspect transport equipment and report needed repairs.
• Transport patients to imaging and maintain safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency.
