Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with patients, technologists and staff.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with electronic medical records.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Works effectively as part of a team and maintains a clean, safe environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective patient care under the direction of the technologist.
• Prepare the patient for the exam and attend to their needs during care.
• Assist patients on and off procedure tables and to and from procedure rooms.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate pertinent information to other care providers.
• Routinely inspect transport equipment and report repairs as needed.
• Transport patients to and from the Imaging department, ensuring comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency.
