Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiology and MRI Tech Aide to support imaging staff at St Vincent Regional Hospital. The role focuses on preparing patients, ensuring comfort and safety, and assisting technologists during diagnostic imaging procedures.

You will collaborate with care teams in a fast-paced environment, handling patient transport, equipment readiness, and adherence to safety protocols. Prior experience in patient care or similar settings is preferred; BLS certification is

Qualifications

High School Diploma and BLS certification are required.
BLS certification for caregivers is required.
IV insertion proficiency may be required at site.

Responsibilities

Safe and effective delivery of patient care under the direction of the technologist.
Assist in preparing the patient for the exam and attend to their needs.
Assist patients on/off procedure tables and to/from procedure rooms.
Oversee coordination of patient care and communicate to other providers.
Coordinate patient care and share pertinent information with team members after procedures.
Inspect transport equipment and report repairs when needed.
Transport patients to/from the Imaging department ensuring comfort and safety.
May perform IV insertion upon competency.
