Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a Lead Radiology Technologist to oversee daily operations in the Diagnostic Radiology department across multiple sites. The role requires leadership, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards while coordinating with Radiologists, staff and patients.
The candidate should have MA Radiography licensure and ARRT (R) certification, 1–2 years of radiology experience, and BLS/CPR certification. Full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.
Under the general supervision of the Diagnostic Radiology Supervisor, Radiology Manager and the Director of Radiology, the Lead Technologist leads, plans and coordinates the daily operations of the Diagnostic Radiology department through interactions with support and technical staff, other departments, Radiologists and others as necessary. Primary duty is to coordinate all aspects of the day-to-day operations in various locations (Newton Pavilion, Shapiro, Menino Pavilion, Whittier and Agganis clinics) to ensure the delivery of quality services in accordance with applicable policies, procedures and professional standards.
